And the winner is ...

QUIZ:

Which animal had the most expensive vet bill in November?

a) HORSE. Ran high fever for several days.
Bill included farm call, exam and shot of banamine.

b) CAT. Constipated.
Bill included XRay, 2 enemas, fluids and exam.

.......

Was it this creature?

Or this one?

If you guessed B: THE CONSTIPATED CAT - you are correct!!!

The fat furrball cost me upwards of $300, and the horse's bill was a much more manageable $150.

The lesson here kids and make sure your cat poops.

In other news: Hampton's new bridle is IN TRANSIT and I am stalking the UPS tracker number. I cannot wait to get my grabby hands all over that thing! #tackwhore

  1. Funny, I have a similar story. When I get the horse's bill, I'll have to do one!

Also glad your fluffy pets are ok. They are cool people.

  3. Lol my cat had a problem not peeing a couple years ago and it cost almost as much as my horses recent splint surgery. Smaller animals apparently do not equal smaller vet bills! Glad all critters are better now tho!

  4. Definitely a more involved procedure for the kitty. Glad they are both okay though and am now praying to the animal health gods that all mine stay healthy.
