On Saturday I have the awesome, awesome opportunity to audit the Edward Gal clinic in Lexington. This is all thanks to Team Engaged. Visit their website for more incredible clinics in area ... and other areas, too.
I'll be driving down Friday afternoon and checking into a hotel. I thought about not spilling the beans, but I'll go ahead and tell you I'll be looking at a few horse trailers while I'm down there. Perhaps I'll come back towing something? Who knows.
Anyway, I am so so so excited for Saturday's clinic. I'll be taking a buttload of notes and will post a clinic report here next week. No photos, though as I don't have a media pass. But I'm sure there will be photos posted somewhere.
And it's Lexington! I haven't been down there in a few years. It will be difficult for me to leave, that much I know. :-)
Oh, and Hampton has been doing wonderfully. He has started doing walk-canter transitions. Success rate is only about 70% at the moment, but we're getting there. All the hill work I have been doing has really helped with his strength and balance. I'm going to try and get some video soon, too. Later, gators!

i love edward gal, he used to ride prestige vdl, who we're breeding our mare with next year!
ReplyDeletehe's such an amazing rider, what a great opportunity for you :)
Very cool! I'll be looking forward to your next post. And I love Lexington. We are headed there in a little over a week for the dressage portion of WEG. Can't wait. Have fun!
ReplyDeleteThat's so cool! Congratulations and have fun. I can't wait to read about it later :).
