Hampton's boob has now gone down to a rather pathetic A-cup size and we are ready for Nationals! Thankfully it was nothing serious (not pigeon fever), but rather a scrape that got a little infected and because it's in a gravity-dependent spot, filled with some fluid.
Hampton is feeling fresh, bright and ready to go. He is body clipped and looks fantastic.
Now for the bad news.
Our class won't be live-streamed on USEF Network, but I do highly recommend you watch some anyway because the caliber of horses here is just phenomenal. Also, the judging scores are ALL OVER THE PLACE, so it does provide some entertainment in that regard too.
My judge at C will be Janet Foy who I ADORE, but am also nervous about riding in front of her! haha!
A big THANK YOU to everyone who helped us get here this year!
Omggggggg you get to ride for Janet Foy?!? That’s super exciting haha I hope she gives you excellent commentary !! My trainer will be there too I think, doing third. It’s all very exciting - good luck!
ReplyDeleteI love Janet! She's always been very fair when I've seen her. Though very fond of the 6.
ReplyDeleteAh boo I wanted to watch your class! But yay glad Hampton is ready to go!
ReplyDeleteAhhh! So freaking psyched for you. And I'd be nervous, too, to ride for Janet but at the same time WHAT AN HONOR! You've got this. =)
ReplyDeleteI don’t commemt often (or ever keep up my blog) but I’m a long time creeper... like years long creeper.
ReplyDeleteCONGRATULATIONS and GOODLUCK!!!!!!! I’m so happy you’ve made it this far and I hope you have so much fun :)
This is so exciting! Good luck!!!
ReplyDeleteGood luck!!! Ride that nickel-dime sucker! ;) Can't wait to see any video you get and pictures!
ReplyDeleteGood luck! Have the BEST TIME! Sad it won't be live-streamed, but that just means that you'll have to report back to us.
