I finally gave in and gave Hampton a trace clip.

See how cute I am? I will now inspect you for treats.
He had grown the world's best winter coat, and as a result has not worn his blanket yet this winter. But he also gets sweaty quite quickly when we work and I am tired of the sweaty mess of hair I have to deal with every day.
So hair off, blanket on. He was a good boy and required no drugs for the process.

One treat is insufficient, lady.

I call these Flinstone dapples, lol. Whatever they are, it is adorable.
|
I think this is also called an Irish Clip.
Trace clips IMO are too difficult! Yours turned out great! He's adorable.
ReplyDeleteThat is an Irish clip, I used to do them all the time with Guinness. Hampton looks lovely, and what awesome marks on his belly!
ReplyDeleteClip job looks great! Ramone has "flinestone" dapples too!
ReplyDeleteHe looks great! Good job mom! :)
ReplyDeleteThose dapples are cool! His clip looks great. You did a really good job. :)
ReplyDeleteOMG - he looks adorable! Sorry, Hampton...very manly :)
ReplyDeleteHe looks great!
ReplyDeleteAny clip that doesn't involve taking it all off is hard, and you made that look really good! Love those crazy dapples!
ReplyDeleteHe looks great!
ReplyDeleteNice lines! I recall my one attempt at a Trace Clip. It was unsuccessful to the point that the barn owner came in in the middle of my clip job and just laughed ;P.
ReplyDeleteThose are cheeta spots my friend....are you sure he isn't part big cat? lol
ReplyDeleteHe looks great! Love the hidden dapples.
