I think my horse may one day be in the Olympics.
Equine artistic body art competition perhaps?
Enjoy this series of photos from a day in the life of Hampton. This was, of course, after our ride and after I gave him a very cooling bath. Meticulously picking mud off his face, and lovingly washing it from his mane and tail. Then giving him a good soaking of expensive fly spray.
:)
| "Hmm. She is still watching me. Where should I grind mud into next?" |
| Seriously no modesty here. |
I feel your pain... only it was my grey mare that loved to do this! Pretty sure the point was to make me ineffectively scream and gibber with rage at the gate 😂
ReplyDeleteI give him am 8.5 for his efforts! On the Olympic podium for sure!
Gosh horses are so good at getting absolutely filthy! Dust sponges, the lot of them.
ReplyDeleteBut you have mud which means you have rain. I miss rain.
ReplyDeleteObviously he's trying to get the fly spray off. If you hadn't put that on, he wouldn't have had to work so hard to remove it!
ReplyDeletewowza he means business huh lol
ReplyDeleteGold medal for mud rolling for sue!
ReplyDeleteI rate it a 10/10. Gold medal
ReplyDeleteUgh, that is always the worse. Get them nice and clean, and they have to go and find the nastiest spot in the pasture. Thankfully Sydney doesn't do that too much!
ReplyDeleteBoth my boys wallowed like actual pigs in a giant mudhole the other day. Damn mud !
